All sizes are approximate, composition and design of the portrait will dictate the exact size. Above prices are for an individual portrait with traditional background. Interior or landscape backgrounds will increase the cost by approximately 20%. Pets or animals are an additional 25% of the portrait. Each additional figure will be a 50% increase. Larger sizes are available.

A preliminary photo session is necessary in order to provide an array of poses, and to provide visual information for the artist if the client cannot sit as often as required. Realistically, the more live sittings there are, the more lifelike the results will be. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the portrait. Balance is due upon acceptance of the completed portrait. Framing, shipping and travel costs if necessary are the financial responsibility of the client. Residents of Minnesota will be responsible for applicable sales tax.
Hurinenko is currently booked out 9-12 months.

Procedure

Initial Meeting: Clients meet with the Artist to discuss size, composition, and setting (traditional, interior, or outdoor) of the portrait.

Photo Shoot: The Subject is photographed in a variety of poses, clothing, and moods.
Sessions usually last approximately one to two hours.

Second Meeting: Clients meet with the Artist to choose the direction the portrait will go. Clients confirm the look and personality they are trying to convey. Background, size and fees are confirmed.

Retainer: A nonrefundable 50% retainer is due to begin the portrait.

Sittings: The Client will be asked to sit for two or three 1-2 hour sessions during the painting process.

Finalized Portrait: Portraits will be finished 6-12 months after the photo shoot and the balance of the commission price will be due upon approval by the client.

Framing, shipping cost, and any Travel Expenses for the Artist are the responsibility of the client.
